Part 3. Antibody Phage Display
Phage display provides a direct physical link between phenotype and genotype by utilizing the ability to display genes on the surface of bacteriophage. Why use phage display to make recombinant antibody? Traditional ways for preparing antibodies are cumbersome, labor intensive, amount limited and unstable of antibody and animal use. It is now possible to create antibodies binding to any chosen target antigen without the use of laboratory animals or hybridomas, in a system that completely by-passes the immune system. Therefore, antibodies can be displayed on phage in form of single chain antibody (scFv) or Fab' fragments using the system. It allows us to quickly construct different format of antibody libraries. Itgives new possibilities for providing novel binders to almost any antigen, including those that are poorly immunogenic or non-immunogenic, self-antigen or 'difficult' targets.
We practically provide all antibody displayed service as follows:
1. Further modification of well-characterized antibody or antigen by phage display.
2. Creation of target-based mutated antibody phage display library
3. Quick selection and screening of Single chain antibody from antibody library
Part 4. Antibody Engineering
In antibody engineering, molecular biology approaches are used to improve the function of antibody molecules by altering their amino acid sequence or fusion them to other functional peptides or proteins. The affinity and specificity with which antibodies recognize antigens, their stability in various environmental conditions, their therapeutic efficacy, and their detection in diagnostic applications may thus be enhanced. The platform provides opportunity for the isolation of genes encoding the specific antibody, which therefore creates the ability to redesign, enhance or alter specific antibody function.

Followings are suitable for modified your antibody:
|
· Well characterized non-human antibody
· Unique monoclonal antibody but it is produced from unstable hybridoma
· Want to change your antibody format
· Improve antibody functions
· Convert scFv to whole IgG
|
Part 5. Antibody Purification and Conjugation
All format of antibodies can be purified by affinity column before labeling. We provide conjugating polyclonal, monoclonal and recombinant antibodies, with the following labels:
|
- Enzymes, including alkaline phosphatase and horseradish peroxidase, etc.
- Fluorochromes: FITC and Cyanine dyes (Cy3, Cy5 and Cy7 ), etc.
- Affinity ligand conjugation: Biotin, streptavidin, protein A, etc.
- Solid surface: Quantum Dot, Agarose beads, magnetic beads, etc.
- Others available upon request
|
Our antibody conjugates are used for a different applications such as flow cytometry, ELISA, Western blotting, immunohistochemistry and membrane assays.
